The Pretty Grey by Marie
We visited a nearby farm a few months back and one of the horses we took photos of was a favorite when the shots were posted on my main blog. Mom asked for a painting of him, and so for her birthday I gave her this portrait in oil. Joining in with Eva and Kristin's Paint Party Friday:

The Clothes Line by Latane
Michael McVean's theme for this week's Scribble Picnic was 'tablecloth'. Right away I thought of seeing, when I was young, my Mom's Sunday tablecloth hanging on the line in the backyard. So, that is what I tried to do. A watercolor on 9x12 paper.

The Bench by Marie
I was inspired by a bench in front of a colorful fall tree in the gardens at Ft. Vancouver, and did this watercolor recently from a photo. It looked like a lovely place to sit and have some quiet time. Joining Eva and Kristin's Paint Party Friday:

A Sketch by Latane
Mr. Hedgehog has made his way to the kitchen. He is hungry and smells hot chocolate, so he climbs up in a chair to have a taste. Oh wow, there is toast, too. He's a lucky fellow this morning.

Cardinals In The Pines
I love to see the bright red cardinals when it is bitterly cold outside. Just brightens things up so much.
This watercolor was done on a 8x8 watercolor paper.

A Walk In The Rain
Where was my head this morning? It is Friday! Right? Guess all this snow has me addle-brained. But, finally here is my entry for Paint Party Friday.
This is a painting of my grandson and his dad walking to the car in the rain. The photo was taken several years ago and is one of my favorites. So, I gave my daughter and son-in-law this watercolor for Christmas.
