Finches by Latane

For Paint Party Friday I wanted to share this watercolor with you.  I had made a picture of these two finches sitting on a tree branch outside my daughter's kitchen window. It just kept calling me to paint it so I did.

For Paint Party Friday The thistle is a favorite of mine... if I don't have to get too close. They will stick you. Watercolor on 8x8" watercolor paper.

I haven't been on Michael's Scribble Picnic for awhile now. My subjects did not match his weekly theme but I will be on there whenever I can match. 

This one isn't exactly what Michael asked for. He asked for a picket fence. Would this qualify? It may be stretching it a bit!
