My entry today for Paint Party Friday is a watercolor of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in North Carolina.
It is the tallest lighthouse in the U. S. In 1999 erosion over the years had caused the lighthouse to be just 15 ft from the water's edge and so was moved to a higher location. It's located in Buxton, North Carolina on the Outer Banks and is a big tourist attraction.
This is lovely. Happy it was moved as I think lighthouses
