A Tree by the Side of the Road by Latane

Good Morning, all you painters and those who aren't.

I recently did this tree in watercolor. I was having trouble doing trees. The best thing to do when you are 'having trouble' is just keep doing it until you get it right.  Joining with Paint Party Friday

  4. It's wonderful! Really beautiful...the tree is just perfect! I wouldn't have made the path quite as straight...a little bit of a curve or wiggle in it would keep the straightness of it from catching the eye away from the tree. But, it's amazing!

  5. I think your tree is lovely and I have to admit I have trouble doing them too, I think I don't paint "loose" enough to get them right.

  13. That is very pretty! You are right about practicing. I started my watercolours about 2 years ago now, and I can see how I've improved since then!
